Tottenham completed the signing of England midfielder James Madison

Spurs entered pre-negotiations with recently relegated Fox earlier this week and secured Maddison in a deal worth 40 million pounds ($50 million) and extra costs.

Madison has agreed to a five-year contract with the club, becoming Tottenham’s new manager Anjou Postecoglou for the third time this summer.

Madison’s move will mark a big coup for Spurs, a longtime fan of the 26-year-old.

In his five years at Leicester, where he won the FA Cup in 2021, Madison has scored 55 goals and 41 assists in 203 appearances.

Madison was unable to stop Leicester from suffering a shock relegation to the second division, but was still able to score double digits for a goal. 먹튀검증

Leicester’s fight for survival has forced the club to reject Madison’s move in the January transfer window but has now agreed to leave.

Madison’s creativity and versatility will support the Spurs team, which has lacked players in the frame since Christian Eriksen left in 2020.

His arrival ends a busy few weeks for Tottenham, which has made Dejan Kulusevski’s loan switch from Juventus permanent and signed Empoli goalkeeper Goulielmo Vicario.

Speculation continues over Harry Kane’s future as Bayern Munich are reportedly ready to submit a bid for Tottenham’s record-breaking goaltender.
