Paoagali took to social media to share a photo of him and Coach Patupaito at the athletes’ village, writing, “No words can convey my feelings. May Coach Patupaito rest in peace,” he wrote in tribute.
Paoagali will face Victor Schellstratter (BEL) in the men’s 92kg round of 16 at the North Paris Arena in Paris, France, at 11:02 p.m. on Monday.
