HANJIN TRANSPORT HORSES TO KOREA CUP “SAFELY ACROSS THE OCEAN”

Hanjin said on July 7 that it has safely transported racehorses from various countries participating in the international horse racing events Korea Cup and Korea Sprint to Gwacheon Stadium.Horses have a 350-degree field of vision and are known to be sensitive animals, so the transportation process was meticulous, Hanjin said. When transported by air, the horses were placed in a special cargo container called a “horse stall,” and two professional caretakers accompanied each horse to make them feel safe. The inside of the horse stall was lined with sawdust and hay to help reduce stress. After crossing the ocean, the racehorses entered the country through Incheon Airport’s cargo terminal and were transferred to a vehicle via a “hippodrome,” where horses are unloaded, and then transported by land to the horses’ stalls at Gwacheon Let’s Run Park.Hanjin has previously transported athletes’ training supplies for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics, and has been involved in various sporting events as a general logistics company, such as transporting broadcasting 스포츠토토 equipment for the upcoming Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.
