Jeju United’s Kim Dong-jun was named the goalkeeper who made the best save in the K League in June.
The Korea Professional Football Association (KPFA) announced on June 16 that Jeju United goalkeeper Kim Dong-jun has been named the winner of the ‘Doctor’s Ringtee Save of the Month’ for June 2024.
The winner of the Save of the Month will be selected from two nominees based on a combination of fan votes (80%) through the K League membership application ‘Kick’ and Ringtee 토토사이트 순위 official mall votes (20%).
Kim Dong-joon and Lee Beom-soo (Incheon) were nominated for the June award based on their performances in the 16th-20th rounds of the K League 1.
Kim Dong-joon received 50.5 points (6,250 votes) after weighted voting for his reflexes to stop Ahn Young-gyu’s header in the 36th minute of the 20th round match against Gwangju FC on March 30.
Lee Bum-soo received 49.5 points (4,595 votes) for his save on Hong Yoon-sang’s cross in the 22nd minute of the 18th round match against Pohang Steelers, followed by a save on Kim In-sung’s shot shortly afterward.
The winner will receive a cash prize of 1 million won and a trophy.
