Toronto’s Top Pitcher Prospect Tiederman Out Of Season With Tommy John Surgery

Toronto Blue Jays’ top pitching prospect Ricky Tiederman (21) will undergo surgery.

Local media such as “MLBcom” reported Tiederman’s Tommy John surgery, citing coach John Schneider’s announcement on the 28th (Korea Standard Time).

Tiederman has been battling injuries this season. He was placed on the injured list due to inflammation of the ulnar nerve of the palgumchi in April and had a return game in July with Triple-A, but pitched one inning and went back down with the injury.
He met with authorities in the field, including Keith Meister and Neil Elatrice, and heard secondary findings and eventually decided that surgery was the best option.

Considering the usual recovery period of Tommy John surgery, he will miss most of the 2025 season as well as the 2024 season.

It is a huge blow to both players and his team. He was always at the top of the Blue Jays’ prospect rankings.

Toronto has already lost another promising player to injury while other top-ranked pitching prospects such as Brandon Barriera (No. 4) and Landon Marudis (No. 13) have already lost another promising player to injury for a long time.

The team is agonizing over the operation of the starting rotation for the 2025 season. Kevin Gausman, Chris Bassett, Jose Berrios and Yariel Rodriguez are the only starters left with contracts for the next season.

T-the-man was expected to instill tension in this, but such an effect could not be expected at least in 2025.토토사이트 모음
